Former WWE star Kenn Doane has added his name to the list of professional wrestlers who have penned their own books. According to TMZ on Feb. 10, Doane has followed in the footsteps of Mick Foley and made his book one for the kids.
Doane wrestled under the name of Kenny Dykstra in the WWE as part of the comic group known as The Spirit Squad. Out of all the members of that group, only two remain in a major promotion as Dolph Ziggler in the WWE and Mike Mondo competes in Ring of Honor.
The book that Doane is releasing is a children's book about bullying. Doane is currently rehabbing a knee injury and decided he wanted to try his hand at writing. The topic he went after was bullying and "Billy's Bully" quickly found a publisher, proving that his vision was true.
The publisher brought in an artist and another author to do some touch ups, but Doane looks like he might have a nice career after wrestling in the children's market. "Billy's Bully" is due out in June 2013.
Kenn Doane has most recently competed in Dragon Gat USA, Evolve and the Wrestling Retribution Project.
