Daniel Bryan was at Ringside Fest 2013 and was interviewed about his career and some of his dream opponents. According to PWInsider on Nov. 1, he had two answers for a dream opponent at Wrestlemania 30, one realistic and one more of a fantasy choice.
When asked who he would want to wrestle at Wrestlemania 30, Bryan said that he would love to convince Shawn Michaels to come back for one more match and the two of them could wrestle on the biggest stage of them all. Since HBK’s return is not very likely, Bryan also said a follow up opponent would be Triple H, in what he said would be an amazing match.
Of course, on “WWE Monday Night Raw” this week, Bryan attacked Michaels and locked him in the Yes Lock, forcing him to tap out until officials could save him. But Michaels has said many times he is finished wrestling, so the wrap-up to Bryan’s problems with Triple H could be next, unless the WWE considers that storyline completed.
Bryan was also asked who he respected the most in the industry, and he said the person he most wanted to be like in his career was Dean Malenko. However, he said the person he looks up to the most is William Regal, who he said he would not be at this level without the help from.
