Cody Rhodes met his wife Brandi when she was a WWE Diva in training in NXT. However, she left the business and went on to a modeling career. According to her Twitter account on Nov. 1, it sounds like Brandi Runnels will be making her return to the WWE.
The tweet included a photo of wrestling boots and a WWE Performance Center t-shirt along with the statement that it was a gift from Cody Rhodes and she was trading her heels for boots. It also said she starts training on Monday.
When Brandi was in the WWE before, she went by the name Eden Stiles. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors in Communications and worked as a news reported for a FOX network in Michigan. She moved on to Florida to pursue her dream of being a model.
She was working on a Masters in TV News Journalism at the University of Miami when she was hired to work for the WWE. She started out as a valet to a wrestler named Lucky Cannon, who interestingly feuded with Cody Rhodes on the second season of NXT.
She soon transitioned into an interviewer and was called up to the Smackdown brand where she became a ring announcer. Seven months later, she asked for and was granted her release by the WWE to seek other career goals.
