WWE superstar Chris Jericho did a recent fan question-and-answer session and talked about a large number of items. Among his topics of discussion were the previous brand extension, having two world champions and his thoughts on who the best upcoming stars were in the WWE. He also touched on the possibility of a John Cena heel turn. 411mania reported on Thursday that Jericho said that Cena should not turn heel and remain a face in the company.

While a lot of fans might think that a heel turn could rejuvenate John Cena’s career, Jericho disagrees with the reasoning behind the change. According to Jericho, Cena does too much work with charity and sells too much merchandise to risk turning him bad. Plus, Jericho feels a heel turn wouldn’t work because of the fans.

According to Jericho, the same fans who complain that Cena should turn heel are the same ones who really cheer him at arenas. He then took a shot at the Internet wrestling community, saying they were more immature than even he is. He said that even if the WWE did turn John Cena heel, the fans would just cheer him after that.

As for the question about who Chris Jericho thought were the biggest future WWE stars, he said that the three former members of The Shield, Bray Wyatt and his Wyatt Family were the best young talents to watch on TV right now. This makes sense because it was the feud with Bray Wyatt that brought Jericho back to the WWE this time. Jericho also mentioned that it is often better to organically develop talents than just to push them too quickly.
