Brock Lesnar was rumored to be in talks with the UFC to return for another match, something that Dana White claimed he knew nothing about. According to PWS on Dec. 30, the reason that White was clueless was because it was nothing more than a publicity stunt to get Lesnar's name out there in time for his return to the WWE.
Brock Lesnar is scheduled to make his return to "WWE Monday Night Raw" tonight and will compete at his first "Royal Rumble" in ten years. Whether he takes part in the actual Royal Rumble match or will fight in a single's match is unknown.
Also returning with Brock Lesnar tonight is Paul Heyman and the two will work on setting up the planned "Wrestlemania 30" match for Brock. The long rumored opponent for Lesnar is The Undertaker, although with Batista returning, there is no telling what the WWE has planned right now.
As for the Brock Lesnar UFC talk, it was just leaked out by the WWE to promote his name. Word is that he is signed to an exclusive WWE contract and there is little chance that Vince McMahon would let Lesnar risk his health in a legitimate UFC fight. One look at what happened to Anderson Silva over the weekend should tell the WWE all they need to know about losing someone they are paying so much money to in a fluke UFC injury.
The news of the Brock Lesnar WWE return came over the weekend when the WWE pre-recorded "WWE Smackdown" and Big E Langston talked about a Lesnar attack on Mark Henry that has not actually happened yet.
