WWE news: Breaking down the wrestlers in the Money in the Bank matches

All the contenders in the two upcoming WWEMoney in the Bank” ladder matches have been named. On Monday night’s episode of “WWE Monday Night Raw,” Triple H came out and named all the members of the traditional ladder match to grab the Money in the Bank briefcase. By the end of the show, a final member was added to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship ladder match as well.

For the WWE World Heavyweight Championship ladder match, everyone but Randy Orton had to earn a spot by winning a match. That all changed on “WWE Monday Night Raw” when Triple H added Kane to the match. The revelation came after a handicap match where the seven other members fought. In that match, John Cena, Sheamus and Roman Reigns beat Bray Wyatt, Alberto Del Rio, Cesaro and Randy Orton in a handicap match only for Kane to come down and destroy everyone.

The second ladder match for the Money in the Bank briefcase saw Triple H bypass qualifying matches and just name the wrestlers involved. Seth Rollins was already in the match and Triple H named Rob Van Dam, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, Bad News Barrett and Dolph Ziggler, making the match a six-man affair. Rob Van Dam came out, feeling he was being disrespected, and demanded a match against Seth Rollins, which Triple H gave him.

Rollins was actually about to win the match after the Curb Stomp when Dean Ambrose ran in from out of nowhere and just beat the crap out of Rollins. By the time he was finished, Rollins had run to the back as fast as he could and Ambrose took the mic. Ambrose said that if he is not added to the match, he will show up anyway and ruin the entire “Money in the Bank” event and beat up Rollins again.

Rollins asked Triple H backstage to put Ambrose in the match so that they could know where he was and keep an eye on him. Triple H liked Rollins’ confidence and agreed to it. By the end of “WWE Monday Night Raw,” both the WWE ladder matches for the “WWE Money in the Bank” pay-per-view are set. The event kicks off at 8 p.m. EST on the WWE Network and select cable providers. A Kickoff show will start at 7:30 EST with Daniel Bryan in attendance talking about his injury.
