WWE Network: The live ‘NXT: Arrival’ episode reveals their announce team

The WWE Network launches next week and one of the first specials in that week will be a live NXT special called “NXT: Arrival.” It is the only live episode announced for now, but will air weekly after that with pre-recorded tapings. According to PWS on Feb. 17, Michael Cole went to his blog to let everyone know who the NXT announce team will be for the event.

According to Cole, the “NXT: Arrival” announce team will be Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton and William Regal. This is a perfect choice since they know the roster better than anyone as the regular announcers. There was some thought that maybe Tensai would have a part in it, but it looks like he will sit on the sidelines for this one.

The matches on the show should be good enough to make new WWE Network subscribers who are unfamiliar to NXT want to tune in for more. There are three matches, and all three are main event caliber matches.

The first match is for the NXT Diva’s title between Emma and Paige. If anyone is discouraged by most of the Divas in the WWE, they will be pleasantly pleased with what these two women can pull off in the ring.

Next up is a best of three falls match between WWE star Cesaro and Sami Zayn. For those who don’t know, Zayn is the former El Generico in Ring of Honor and he has had a lot of great matches with Cesaro back in the indies and actually has had what some call the best NXT match of all time with Cesaro before.

The main event is for the NXT world title where Bo Dallas defends his belt against Adrian Neville in a ladder match. Neville is the former PAC from the indies and can fly like no one else and Dallas is an arrogant heel who also happens to be the brother of Bray Wyatt.

“NXT: Arrival” will air on the WWE Network live on Feb. 27.
