According to a June 23 report from Fansided, tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is expected to tie up the loose story-lines heading into this weekend's Money in the Bank special event. The episode, which will be filmed at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., airs at 8 p.m. on the USA Network. WWE Universe will be watching closely, as there's a lot to cover before this weekend's pay-per-view spectacular.
In the first order of business tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw, wrestling fans are expected find out who will be joining Seth Rollins in the Money in the Bank ladder match for a WWE Heavyweight Championship contract. There will be two different ladder matches at WWE Monday in the Bank. The first one will decide who takes over the new champion, and the other is for a contract for a future guaranteed title shot.
In other matters, WWE fans will find out the fallout from last week's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, when Roman Reigns tampered with Triple H's coffee. Vickie Guerrero also did a terrible job in the eyes of The Authority, as she was supposed to be in charge of delivering the coffee. Since she left the coffee unattended long enough for Reigns to tamper with, she could take some of the blame. Its very possible that Guerrero gets fired tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw.
Elsewhere on the WWE Monday Night Raw card, the Funkadactyls are expected to split, as teammates Cameron and Naomi haven't been getting along lately. The WWE wants to determine who is next in line to fight Paige for the WWE Divas championship, so the ladies will likely duke it out to figure out who gets a shot at the belt.
Wade Barrett, Cesaro, Rob Van Dam, Sheamus and Big E are also confirmed for tonight's event, as is Stardust. The Brotherhood has been unstoppable since Cody Rhodes transformed into Stardust, so there's a good chance they will compete tonight against Rybaxel or The Usos. No one in WWE Universe would be surprised if the new tag-team of Stardust and Goldust win the WWE tag-team championship before the year is out.
All it took was a slightly different look for The Brotherhood to emerge as a tag-team powerhouse in the WWE. They were losing week in and week out when Rhodes performed under his own name, but his new character, Stardust, has gotten over in a big way with the fans. Finally, tonight's WWE Monday Night Raw card is expected to feature a collision between Rollins and his former teammate, Dean Ambrose.
Rollins and Ambrose have been squabbling a lot since The Shield broke up, and their rivalry is only expected to get bigger as the weeks roll on. The WWE is likely waiting for a pay-per-view event to have Rollins and Ambrose actually fight each other, so tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw they will probably just yell at each other a bit. Rollins is expected to get a major push as the WWE's top heel in the months ahead.
