According to a Feb. 17 report from CagesideSeats.com, Randy Orton faces The Authority's final challenge when he takes on Sheamus in the main event of tonight's WWE Monday Night Raw event in Denver, Colorado.
Orton, 33, has battled each of his "Elimination Chamber" opponents, and tonight is his final test.
There's a good chance tonight's fight ends with all six "Elimination Chamber" contestants inside the ring, battling it out to hype up the upcoming pay-per-view that goes down in six days.
Orton competed against Christian, John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Antonio Cesaro over the past few weeks. Tonight he takes on Sheamus in a singles match.
Plenty of key storylines will be addressed on tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, as its the last taping of the show before next week's "Elimination Chamber" pay-per-view event in Minneapolis.
Tonight's episode could feature The Usos in a tag team title bout, plus an appearance by Jack Swagger and The Real Americans.
Additionally, it will be interesting to see how the WWE utilizes The Shield and The Wyatt Family for tonight's live taping of "Raw."
As most pro wrestling supporters know, The Shield and The Wyatt Family are set to battle each other a week from now at "Elimination Chamber."
With that said, the WWE could have the groups exchange some heated words on tonight's episode.
It will also be worth watching to see how the WWE uses Daniel Bryan in tonight's WWE Monday Night Raw episode. The promotion has been building a feud between him and Kane for some time now, and a major confrontation could possibly go down tonight between the two men.
Tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw opened with John Cena taking center stage. One by one, all six "Elimination Chamber" contestants walked out to the ring and said their part on the mic.
Cesaro came out after Cena, and he was followed by Sheamus. Seconds later, Christian came out to the cage and called out Sheamus.
Orton and Bryan followed shortly after. Orton thanked The Authority for giving him the chance to beat the rest of the contestants, but Bryan received the biggest applause of the night.
