A mere 24 hours removed from WWE "Night of Champions" and it was time for WWE "Monday Night Raw." Newly crowned WWE champion Daniel Bryan came out to start the show on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, and he was all smiles, but the celebrating wouldn't last long.
Below are the full results and a total recap of WWE "Monday Night Raw." If you have not yet seen the event or don't want to know the results, then stop reading now.
~ Bryan came out to start the show to a great ovation and he began addressing Triple H. That was when the COO came out and said that referee Scott Armstrong gave a fast count, and the ref admitted to it. That was when Triple H said an investigation needed to be done so the title would be vacated.
Bryan wouldn't give him the title back so Randy Orton came out, hit an RKO, and Triple H took the belt. Orton demanded that he get the belt back. Stephanie McMah0on said he deserved to lose and they need to find a new face of WWE.
~ Dolph Ziggler defeated Dean Ambrose in a rematch from "Night of Champions" in a non-title match. This was just as good as their match from last night, and it is surprising to see Ziggler pick up the win considering how he has been buried for weeks.
~ Fandango defeated R-Truth to avenge his "Dance Off" loss from a couple of weeks ago. Alright then.
~ Dusty Rhodes came out and wanted the McMahons to listen to what he had to say. He talks about his son Cody's job and goes through his history in the business. Steph then goes into not being invited to Cody's wedding. Dusty then asked Steph about her daughters and told her to go to hell.
The Shield then came out and so did The Big Show. Steph told Dusty to get destroyed by The Shield or knocked out by Show, but he wouldn't choose. Show cried and knocked out Dusty before grabbing him and holding him.
~ Three divas beat three other divas. Seriously, this is going nowhere.
~ Rob Van Dam squashed Damien Sandow as his de-push continues since winning the briefcase.
~ Triple H fired referee Scott Armstrong.
~ Randy Orton started destroying The Miz as he was hugging his mom. The refs tried to get Miz to go get checked by a doctor, but he wouldn't and wanted to fight. Orton just kept beating him on him and the ref eventually called for the bell. Orton again destroyed Miz in front of his parents. Miz finally gets his head stuck in a chair and Orton drops a knee on it.
~ Curtis Axel and Ryback came out with Paul Heyman in a wheelchair and they go through the match from the PPV. Heyman says he owes Ryback his life. Ryback then says he can't stand a bully and that he will protect Heyman.
~ The Usos defeated Tons of Funk and the Real Americans to become the number one contenders for the tag-team titles. Didn't we do this one already?
~ Orton came to ringside for the main event where Daniel Bryan held his own against Roman Reigns, but the big man's power showed at times. Bryan kept fighting back in a really good match before locking in the YES lock, but Orton interfered to cause the disqualification.
Bryan got the YES lock on Orton, but then The Sheild interfered. As Orton was about to nail Bryan's head in a chair, the Prime Time Players, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, the Usos, Dolph Ziggler, Rob Van Damn, Justin Gabriel, Zack Ryder, and others came out to help him and clear the ring.
As the show was going off the air, PTP held Bryan on their shoulders as the crowd chanted "YES!"
