The show opens with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon coming out to confront the wrestlers who helped Daniel Bryan last week. Triple H set up an 11-on-three handicap match between all the wrestlers and The Shield. He then tried to drive a wedge between the good guys and Daniel Bryan.
The first match on the card saw Alberto Del Rio face Kofi Kingston. Del Rio won with the cross arm breaker.
Backstage, The Miz was about to be interviewed when Triple H came up and said he would have a Miz-TV episode tonight with Big Show as his guest.
In the next match, The Wyatt Family beat The Prime Time Players with little problems.
On Miz-TV, The Miz talked about how mad he was and then brought out Big Show. He said he was disappointed in Big Show but understood why he did what he did. He then asked Big Show to step up which brought out Stephanie McMahon. She then buried The Miz and told Big Show to knock him out, with Show did before leaving.
The fans voted on who they wanted to face Randy Orton tonight and they voted for Rob Van Dam. The match ended when Randy Orton flipped out and destroyed RVD outside of the ring before delivering a massive DDT from the top turnbuckle.
Fandango beat Santino in the next match.
CM Punk came out after that, as "WWE Monday Night Raw" took place in his hometown of Chicago. He had the fans going nuts for him until Paul Heyman came out and ran him down. Punk charged after Heyman but Ryback and Curtis Axel attacked him and they hurt Punk to end the segment.
In a Diva's 10-women tag team match, the cast of "Total Divas" took on the actual WWE wrestlers and Brie Bella won for her team by pinning Diva's champion AJ Lee.
Daniel Bryan came out next and cut a great promo about not caring why Triple H screwed him over, and just said he was going to win at "Battleground." That brought out The Shield, but Cody Rhodes and Goldust attacked them from the crowd. Security escorted the Rhodes brothers from the building.
That led to the 11-on-three handicap match. The Shield eliminated Rob Van Dam, Kofi Kingston, Titus O'Neil, Justin Gabriel and Zack Ryder to make it three on six. However, Daniel Bryan came in and slowed The Shield down and then the Usos teamed up to pin Roman Reigns, the big man's first pinfall loss since debuting in the WWE.
Dean Ambrose then eliminated Darren Young, but after that Dolph Ziggler was in next and pinned Ambrose to eliminate him, so Seth Rollins was left alone to face Bryan, The Usos, Ziggler and R-Truth.
The good guys then attacked Rollins like The Shield have done for the last year. When the other two Shield members tried to help, they were stopped and then Bryan knocked out Rollins to win the match for his team and end "WWE Monday Night Raw" on a good note.
