WWE.com announced on Jan. 13 that WWE Monday Night Raw tonight will be the 20th anniversary of the show, which originally debuted on Jan. 11, 1993. The website advertised The Rock in concert as well as the return of some of the company's biggest legends. Here is what fans can expect from tonight's show.
The biggest thing the WWE is promoting is The Rock in concert. This is a throwback to when The Rock was a fulltime competitor in the WWE. He has put on concerts before, both as a face and a heal, and normally takes popular classic songs and switches up the lyrics to insult whoever he is feuding with.
There have also been rumors of numerous legends showing up. In addition to rumored Hall of Fame inductees Mick Foley and King Kong Bundy, names like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels have popped up as rumored guests tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw.
Kaitlyn gets her rematch against Eve for the Diva's Championship. Eve has held on to her title by disqualifications, count outs and sneak attacks. If Kaitlyn doesn't win the belt tonight, will she ever?
Also promoted for the show is a backstage gimmick where Kane and Daniel Bryan return to their psychiatrist to get a follow-up evaluation concerning their anger management problems. While these silly promos usually take away from the show, both Kane and Bryan have been very funny in the promos.
John Cena will continue his feud with Dolph Ziggler, as Cena promises that he will win the WWE Championship again in 2013. The Shield looks to continue to stick their nose in everywhere it doesn't belong and CM Punk will surely have something to say about The Rock and the concert scheduled for tonight.
