WWE Monday Night Raw preview: Hugh Jackman set to appear in Saint Louis

According to an April 28 report from Fansided, Hugh Jackson is set to host tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. The episode, which airs at 8 p.m. on the USA Network, emanates from the Scottrade Center in Saint Louis. It will be the final WWE Monday Night Raw episode before next week's Extreme Rules pay-per-view event.

Daniel Bryan, Kane, John Cena, Triple H, Orton, Batista, The Shield, The Wyatts, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro, Sheamus and Rob Van Dam have all been confirmed to appear during tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. However, just a handful of matches have been announced.

Perhaps the most anticipated match on the card is Wade Barrett vs. Rob Van Dam in the finals of the Intercontinental Championship Tournament to determine who is the top contender in the division. Whoever wins will battle Big E at Extreme Rules. Van Dam and Barrett are both former champs, so it's not clear who the WWE will script to reign supreme.

Also on the card for tonight's WWE Monday Night Raw, the Usos are expected to be back in action against Ryback and Curtis Axel. The Usos will be putting their championship belts on the line against the duo. Several media outlets are also reporting that Daniel Bryan will be back in action, one week after his father passed away.

WWE head honcho Stephanie McMahon is rumored to be apologizing to Bryan tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw, for the vicious attack Kane gave him a couple weeks back. John Cena is also expected to continue his feud with Bray Wyatt during tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.

WWE legend Ric Flair has also been announced as a special guest for tonight's episode, along with Jackman. It's also likely for a WWE Divas match to go down tonight on "Raw," but it's confirmed that AJ Lee will not be there. Lee is taking a little break for action, so Paige may be competing instead.

A 10-man tag-team bout pitting Daniel Bryan, John Cena, and The Shield against Randy Orton, Batista, Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family is also scheduled for tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw. Orton is a hometown favorite in Saint Louis. However, this match isn't expected to air on the USA Network.
