"WWE Monday Night Raw" tonight will mark the final "Raw" before the "Night of Champions" pay-per-view event. WWE.com reported on Sept. 8 that Edge will appear on the show tonight and wonders if he will say anything about Triple H's reign of terror.
Edge won't be in action for this big return to the WWE, but will instead be on hand to promote the upcoming season of his TV show "Haven," based on the Stephen King story "The Colorado Kid." However, Edge has never been one to hold his tongue, and one has to wonder if he will cut loose tonight.
Continuing the Triple H authoritative storyline, Goldust makes his WWE return to battle WWE Champion Randy Orton, promised that if he wins the match then his brother Cody Rhodes will get his job back.
Speaking of Triple H, after firing Rhodes for failing to win his match last week, the locker room has to be afraid of the boss' iron fist. Who might be the next person that Triple H brings the hammer down on. With Triple H and Stephanie McMahon relentlessly bullying The Big Show, one has to wonder when he will ever get the backbone to stand up to them.
On that subject, Daniel Bryan has been left lying, beaten down at the end of every show since losing his title to Orton. When will he ever get retribution?
The other big storyline in the WWE revolves around CM Punk and Paul Heyman, as the two continue to battle. With a big elimination match coming at "Night of Champions," will they cross paths once again tonight?
"WWE Monday Night Raw" airs at 8 p.m. on USA.
