WWE Monday Night Raw preview: Daniel Bryan to surrender his belt?

According to a May 26 report from Mstars News, the big question heading into tonight's WWE Monday Night Raw is if Daniel Bryan will show up to surrender his championship belt. Last week on WWE Monday Night Raw, WWE head honcho Stephanie McMahon demanded that Bryan show up in Knoxville to surrender the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Belt.

The world heavyweight title picture is an interesting one heading into next month's Payback special event, as Bryan is expected to be sidelined for two months due to a neck injury. Bryan recently completed neck surgery, so he's out of active competition for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, the WWE may want to script a new champion to take his place.

No official word yet if Bryan will be showing up tonight in Knoxville. If he does show up, the WWE could have him make a quick cameo to hype his feud with Kane, or they could simply have him show up to relinquish the belt. Thats what makes this week's episode a must-watch. WWE's Monday Night Raw, which airs live from the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn., can be viewed on the USA Network at 8 p.m.

Elsewhere, The Shield and Evolution have been feuding since Extreme Rules, so WWE Universe will likely see more of that tonight. The Shield and Evolution are expected to collide next month at Payback, so there's a good chance they'll battle tonight in the Payback go-home show.

In other action, Bray Wyatt and John Cena continue to clash in the lead-up to Payback. Wyatt got the best of Cena at Extreme Rules, but Payback is all about getting revenge. There's a great chance Cena emerges victorious at Payback because he's one of the top superstars on the WWE roster. The WWE would love to get him back to his winning ways. Cena and Wyatt are set for a Last Man Standing match at Payback.

Additionally, Alicia Fox and Paige started squabbling last week. Their feud will likely continue tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw. Fox shockingly defeated Paige during last week's episode, so its probable the rematch will go down tonight. Finally, WWE Universe can expect cameos from Adam Rose, Summer Rae and Fandango.
