'WWE Monday Night Raw' preview: Brock Lesnar returns

WWE.com reported on Feb. 4 that Brock Lesnar will appear on "WWE Monday Night Raw" tonight to shed some light on why he returned last week and took out chairman Vince McMahon with an F-5. Here is what you can expect to see on tonight's "Raw."

The biggest angle on "Raw" involves the return of Brock Lesnar. Last week on the show, Vince McMahon was about to fire Paul Heyman for orchestrating the attacks by The Shield and Brad Maddox onto CM Punk. Maddox turned over evidence of the deceit, but right before McMahon could say that Heyman was fired, Lesnar returned and attacked McMahon.

The attack resulted in broken ribs, and this week the repercussions start. First, Paul Heyman will appear on Miz TV and then Lesnar is scheduled to make comments as well. Finally, will McMahon have anything to say or will Triple H return to defend his family's honor?

This also puts The Shield in an interesting predicament. While they claimed for months that they didn't work for anyone, how will they respond now that they are outed, and how will John Cena, Sheamus and Ryback deal with last week's vicious attack?

On "WWE Monday Night Raw last week, it also looked like CM Punk had no idea that Heyman was orchestrating The Shield's attacks. Will Punk move on to face The Rock alone and leave Heyman, or was Punk in on it the entire time as well?

"WWE Monday Night Raw" airs at 8 p.m. EST on USA.
