Daniel Bryan makes his return to “WWE Monday Night Raw” this week after missing last week’s show due to his wedding and honeymoon with Brie Bella. According to WWE.com on Sunday, Bryan will show up less than two weeks before “Extreme Rules” to learn who the challenger for his WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be. With Kane putting the mask back on last week, will he come out on “WWE Monday Night Raw” to make the challenge?

Bryan showed up the night after “Wrestlemania 30” and found himself in his first title defense against Triple H. Luckily for him, when Evolution reunited and Kane showed up, The Shield was there to save the day. Now that Evolution appears to be embroiled in a feud with The Shield, it opens up the number one contender spot for Bryan’s title. Last week, Stephanie McMahon ripped into Kane, causing him to leave with his mask. Was that foreshadowing the “Extreme Rules” main event?

Speaking of Evolution, they beat down The Shield last week after Triple H booked the Hounds of Justice in an 11-on-one handicap match. This is the first time anyone has manhandled The Shield. What will the faction have to say this week, and what will happen if they come face-to-face with any members of Evolution?

Now that he has Paul Heyman as his manager, “The King of Swing” Cesaro has been on a tear in the WWE. After winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Cesaro hired Heyman, but remains a fan favorite. He has been feuding with former tag team partner Jack Swagger but also has a big win over Mark Henry. This week, Cesaro battles Rob Van Dam in the second round of the tournament to determine the number one contender for the Intercontinental title. With Van Dam be his next victim?

Also battling in the Intercontinental title tournament is Sheamus and Bad News Barrett. While Barrett has been on a tear since returning to the ring, Sheamus injured his leg last week. Will the finals see Barrett against Cesaro? Also on tap for this week’s “WWE Monday Night Raw” is the continuing feud between John Cena and The Wyatt Family. “WWE Monday Night Raw” airs at 8 p.m. EST on USA every Monday night.
