According to a Feb. 19 report from, the WWE continued its push towards this weekend's "Elimination Chamber" by scripting The Shield to beat Los Matadores and Sin Cara during the Feb. 19 taping of WWE Main Event in Colorado Springs, Colo.

There are just three days left before "Elimination Chamber," a highly-anticipated pay-per-view event that features The Shield against The Wyatt Family.

Since WWE Universe is so close to "Elimination Chamber," the promotion has done everything in its power to give The Shield a little push heading into the event.

With that said, it should come as no surprise that The Shield easily handled the tag-team combo of Sin Cara and Los Matadores at this week's WWE Main Event in Colorado.

The Shield's Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins struggled early in the bout, but Roman Reigns saved the day by entering the bout late and smashing Fernando with a shoulder block.

The Shield finished the fight when Reigns hit his trademark Superman Punch to Diego's face.

Also on the Feb. 19 WWE Main Event card, Cameron defeated Aksana in an exciting WWE Divas bout.

Aksana attacked Cameron before the bell and got her into a headlock, but the latter turned the tables in a hurry. Cameron got back to her feet and managed to get Aksana to collide with Alicia Fox, who was standing ringside.

Cameron would end up winning by roll-up.

Also on the bill, Kofi Kingston defeated Curtis Axel by disqualification.

Ryback had been standing ringside in Axel's corner, and he tripped Kingston to earn the disqualification.

Despite the loss, Axel and Ryback are still set to kick off this weekend's "Elimination Chamber" with a bout against Cody Rhodes and Goldust.
