The WWE pre-taped their weekly "WWE Main Event" television show from Oklahoma City on Feb. 26. Here is a look at what went down at the television tapings.
Before the cameras started rolling, a dark match took place between former NXT star Bo Dallas and Curt Hawkins. For those who remember, Hawkins was one of Edge's "Edge Heads" along with Zack Ryder during Edge's rise to the top of the Smackdown brand.
The show opened with Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler coming down for commentary. This is a chance, because The Miz has been serving as the color commentator on "WWE Main Event" for the past few weeks.
The opening match saw Sheamus take on Cody Rhodes. As usual, Rhodes lost once again, this time a victim of the Brogue kick. In the second match of the card, Mark Henry squashed Justin Gabriel with the World's Strongest Slam.
Also taking place was a Ryback promo video and a backstage vignette where WWE Diva's Champion Kaitlyn tried to cheer up Cody Rhodes, who can't seem to buy a win lately.
"WWE Main Event" airs on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. EST.
