The WWE pre-taped their weekly "WWE Main Event" television show on Feb. 12 from Little Rock, Ark. Here is a look at what went down at these recent television tapings.
The tapings began with two matches for the "WWE Saturday Morning Slam." In those two bouts, Damien Sandow beat Zack Ryder and Antonio Cesaro beat Justin Gabriel.
That led into the "WWE Main Event" tapings.
In the opening segment, Chris Jericho returned with the Highlight Reel. His guest was supposed to be The Miz, which is probably because Miz TV is the new version of the talk segment that Jericho was so successful at. However, thanks to the beating by Antonio Cesaro, he had to cancel.
That made his new guest Alberto Del Rio. Jericho told Del Rio that he plans on winning the Elimination Chamber and fighting him at Wrestlemania for the world title. The two debated this and then Dolph Ziggler came out. He said he was going to cash in his briefcase before Wrestlemania and Del Rio won't be the champion by then.
Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Zigger then fought in the only match on the show and Del Rio won by submission with the cross arm breaker.
Finally, Matt Striker interviewed Paul Heyman about Sunday's WWE Championship match between The Rock and CM Punk.
"WWE Main Event" airs on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. EST on Ion.
