WWE taped this week’s Main Event and Smackdown last night in Miami, Florida. Main Event airs tonight on ION Network while Smackdown airs Friday on SyFy. Thanks to Chris Z. for the results.
MAIN EVENT
-Sheamus defeats Dolph Ziggler via count out.
-Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett defeats Zack Ryder via pin fall.
SMACKDOWN
-A segment featuring WWE Champion CM Punk and Paul Heyman at Sun Life Stadium. Punk is wearing The Rock’s Miami football jersey. Punk trashes Rock, claiming he has taken his spot in WWE.
-The Rock comes to the ring and cuts a promo. He is interrupted by Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. After some entertaining exchanges with Sandow on the mic, Rock plays Sandow out with a Rock Bottom and Rhodes with a spine buster/People’s Elbow combo.
-Booker T omes to the ring and makes United States Champion Antonio Cesaro vs. Randy Orton for later tonight. He is interrupted by World Heavyweight Champion Big Show, who complains to Booker about giving Alberto Del Rio a title shot later in the night. Del Rio attacks Show in the ring, leading Show to flee.
-Randy Orton defeats United States Champion Antonio Cesaro via DQ when The Shield (Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose) lay out Orton.
-It’s announced that Del Rio vs. Show later tonight will be a Last Man Standing match.
-Dolph Ziggler defeats The Great Khali via pin fall.
-Sheamus defeats Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal via pin fall in a 3 on 1 Handicap match.
-Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan and Kane defeat Titus O’Neil and Darren Young via pin fall.
-Alberto Del Rio defeats World Heavyweight Champion Big Show in a Last Man Standing match when Del Rio hits Show with the ring steps a number of times and flipping the announce table on top of Show. Del Rio is the new World Heavyweight Champion.
