WWE looking to improve Divas division; The Bella Twins return on RAW

It seems that the WWE can't make up their collective mind when it comes to the Divas division. Last year, the WWE allowed numerous top Divas leave the company and left many fans and critics shaking their heads in disbelief. Apparently, the WWE has seen the error of their ways and has decided to change their creative direction. According to a March 11 report by The Wrestling Observer, the WWE has recommitted to building up their Divas division. The first example of this recommitment was seen on Monday's episode of RAW as The Bella Twins made a surprise return to the company.

The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki) left the WWE in late April 2012. The popular twins, were part of a mass exodus of the Divas division that also saw stars like Beth Phoenix, Kharma and Kelly Kelly. Another top Diva, Eve Torres, left the company in January 2013. As for Kharma, she recently teased a possible return to the WWE, it remains to be seen if the company will bring her back.

The Divas division has lacked credibility for the last few years due to WWE's handling of the female talent. Many critics chastised the WWE for treating the WWE Divas like "meat" or "sexual objects". If the WWE is truly looking to rebuild the division, they will have to give the women wrestlers more time on television and place emphasis on legitimate storylines, feuds and wrestlers.
