Pro Wrestling Examiner’s Perspective:
Outside of the top three matches on this card, this show leave a lot to desired with expectations set very high by past Wrestlemania shows, this show should feel like it’s going the best show since the last Wrestlemania. This feels like a very fun show going in, but it’s lacking that ‘Mania magic’ we have seen in the past. WWE still has plenty of time to ramp up the stories for the announced matches and announce new matches for the ‘granddaddy of ‘em all’. Don’t take this wrong way, Rock/Cena will likely be better than their first encounter, Triple H/Lesnar has a better story going in their Summerslam encounter, and Punk/Undertaker is the hottest story in all of Pro Wrestling right now. WWE really needs to make the ‘undercard’ matter here, especially to give WM29 a feeling of nonstop excitement top to bottom.
