According to a report yesterday by Wrestlezone, Pro wrestling legend Hulk Hogan continues his road to WWE’s Wrestlemania 30 with a live appearance tonight on ‘RAW’ (USA Network 7pm C/ 8pm E) in Brooklyn, New York. The WWE Hall of Famer will also be a part of the final ‘RAW’ before WM30 on March 31 in Washington, D.C. Two other other wrestling stars are also set to face-off tonight on ‘RAW, read about that here.
The Hulkster who is the official host of WM30 which takes place on Sunday April 6 in New Orleans, will also being making several media appearances in the New York throughout the day including an interview on Huffington Post Live. Hogan rejoined the WWE fold earlier this year to drum up publicity for the launch of the WWE Network, the company’s new digital video subscription service and Wrestlemania 30, the biggest pro wrestling show of the year.
Hulk Hogan after decades in the ring and serious injuries, is not expected to have a match at WM30 and one is not currently planned. There is plenty of speculation that Hogan could get into some type of brawl where his limitations would not be exposed, but there are no confirmed reports this is actually planned. Hogan himself teased getting physical at Mania last week, read what he said in this Examiner article.
Pro Wrestling Examiner’s Perspective: Hulk’s role in the road to WM30 is a perfect one for him at his age and earned respect as a pop culture legend. Hulk interacted with his modern day counterpart John Cena on ‘RAW’ last week, but it would intriguing to see him have a scene with other top WWE stars like Daniel Bryan.Still Hulk’s presence on this campaign to Wrestlemania adds to the magical milestone of the 30th edition of WWE’s grandest event.
