WWE HOF wrestler Jerry Brisco talks about Angle wrestling his son Wes at TNA PPV

WWE HOF wrestler Jerry Brisco couldn't be any prouder of his son Wes Brisco than he is now. Wes is set for his first career defining match in TNA as he takes on the legendary Kurt Angle at the LockDown PPV on Sunday. However, Jerry will be the first to say that Wes is in for the fight of his life against Angle and that his son has been training hard for this fight. Additionally, Jerry has been helping his son by watching film on Angle and giving him some pointers. According to a March 8 report by MondayNightMayhem.com, Jerry Brisco made the following comments:

"Well, he better be ready, because I know Kurt Angle isn't going to take it easy on him because he's my son. If film study will help, he's going to be great. We've gone over every tape online that we can possibly see, and he's been working out a game plan against Kurt. I think he is ready to step up, and I'm very happy that he got this opportunity against the caliber of Kurt Angle."

Jerry Brisco formed one of the greatest tag-teams of all time with his late brother Jack Brisco. After his in-ring career ended, Jerry ended up becoming an agent for the WWE and had many significant on-air roles as one of Vince McMahon's stooges. His son Wes looks to carry on the Brisco name at the expense of Kurt Angle.

The match between Angle and Brisco came about due to Brisco's betrayal of Angle. For much of 2012 and into early 2013, Wes was being mentored by Angle. However, that all changed when Wes joined the heel faction of Aces & 8's. Wes turned on Angle and physically assaulted him.

With Brisco's background and Angle's legendary work ethic, this match has a lot of potential to be entertaining and intense.
