The WWE announced the first inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame on the Jan. 13 episode of “WWE Monday Night Raw.” It what comes as no surprise, the first inductee announced by the WWE is The Ultimate Warrior.
This news comes just a couple of days since the WWE announced that they had come to an agreement with Ultimate Warrior for something. While some thought it was to have him take part in “Wrestlemania 30” in some role, the better bet was that he was going to enter the WWE Hall of Fame.
After over a decade of feuding and numerous lawsuits between the WWE and Ultimate Warrior, the two sides finally made up last year when Ultimate Warrior came to an agreement to represent the WWE when they released the WWE 2K14 video game.
Ultimate Warrior both filmed a commercial to promote WWE 2K14 and he also signed off to be a downloadable character for the video game. Since that time, it was believed that the next step for The Ultimate Warrior was the WWE Hall of Fame.
Now, with the new agreement between Ultimate Warrior and the WWE, it turns out that the big news is the WWE Hall of Fame induction for The Ultimate Warrior. This follows a career where he was one of the most popular wrestlers of his era when he beat Hulk Hogan for the WWE Championship.
The tickets for the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony goes on sale this weekend.
