WWE Hall of Fame rumors: 4 names in consideration for 2015 inductions

The 2015 WWE Hall of Fame is still 10 months away, but the WWE is already discussing names for the inductees. The big name that many expect to see enter the Hall of Fame in San Francisco next year is The Rock. However, PWS reported on Saturday that there are four names on the list for consideration.

The biggest name on the list is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. With the ceremony and “Wrestlemania 31” taking place in California, it makes sense. Outside of being one of the biggest wrestlers in WWE history, The Rock is also the most successful when it comes to Hollywood. He is the biggest actor to ever come out of professional wrestling.

Each year the WWE tries to induct a Diva into the WWE Hall of Fame and the last two years saw Trish Stratus and Lita enter the Hall. This year, the rumored name is Mickey James. That is a nice choice, but there are a lot of names that were more impactful than James, such as Lisa Marie Varon and Sable who were more important in the grand scheme of things than James. Of course, Miss Elizabeth is the biggest omission when it comes to females.

The next name on the list is Rikishi. He was a nice part of the Attitude Era and was a fun act along with Too Cool. While a lot of people see the comedy and dancing and wonder why he belongs, he was a major force before that when he was part of the Samoan Swat Team. He held the tag titles three times and the Intercontinental title once. His sons, The Usos, are the current tag team champions.

The latest big name is Kevin Nash. The WWE rumors here indicate that Nash will enter the WWE Hall of Fame as Diesel, much like Scott Hall entered as Razor Ramon. Then, later down the line the nWo will be inducted as a faction. He held the WWE world title once and the WCW world title five times. The one name not mentioned in these rumors is Sting, but if he signs, expect him to enter in the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame inductions as well.
