Based on an sources close to the situation, Pro Wrestling Examiner has learned today that WWE is maneuvering to see who will induct 80's action TV star Mr.T into the WWE Hall of Fame at the Smoothie King Center this Saturday in New Orleans as part of Wrestlemania XXX week. Currently, there is no public information on who will induct Mr. T at the event.

The inside source claims that WWE was planning to have Mr.T's Wrestlemania 1 tag team partner Hulk Hogan induct the 'A-Team' star into the WWEHOF as a celebrity honoree, but that plan has fallen through due to an unclear personal situation. Hogan is set to be in New Orleans this week and is participating in WM30 as the host of the wrestling spectacle, but our insider states the legendary Hulkster supposedly has vague reservations about being at the Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday because of his longstanding beef with Ultimate Warrior.

The Ultimate Warrior is set to be the featured inductee in this year’s HOF class along with Mr.T who is being inducted for his contributions to the first two editions of Wrestlemania. Warrior and Hogan have had a major war of words over the years with the two sides at one point, entering the courtroom in 2011.

This new information conflicts stories that hit the web in January when Hogan told TMZ that he did not hate the Warrior anymore and was looking to squash the issue between the two legendary wrestlers. If Hogan and Warrior being in the same building is such a problem, it could be an even more tense situation on Sunday when the Hall of Fame 2014 class are presented in front the thousands of attendance at Sunday’s WM30 at the Superdome.

Hogan is not the only WWE star to have a personal issue with this year’s WWE Hall of Fame inductees. Rowdy Roddy Piper who battled Mr. T in separate bouts at the first two Wrestlemanias in the 1980’s, has long said he had a distrust of the TV actor participating in main event matches with WWE. Piper noted in a recent interview, that he believes Mr. T deserves the honor for bringing more attention to WWE during a critical time.

Pro Wrestling Examiner’s Perspective: Established legends in pro wrestling having legitimate beef about problems from decades ago seems so silly and immature, especially when their careers in entertainment are being honored in with the WWE Hall of Fame. It's unfortunate a deserving friend of the WWE in Mr.T is stuck in the middle based on what this Examiner is hearing.
