WWE Hall of Fame news: Ultimate Warrior announces who will induct him

There have been a lot of rumors about who would induct The Ultimate Warrior into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, with the best bet being Hulk Hogan based on their history. However, Ultimate Warrior went to Twitter on March 10 and announced that Linda McMahon would induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame.

While Hulk Hogan was the most obvious choice, Warrior said in his tweet that he requested that Linda McMahon induct him. When he was at the top of the WWE, he was very close with the entire McMahon family and that is what made the subsequent falling out so bitter when it happened.

For almost two decades, Ultimate Warrior and Vince McMahon were involved in lawsuits and a very public feud, but the two met up last year and made up. Warrior himself said that they were both strong willed individuals, which led to the bitter feud between them.

Hulk Hogan would have been a good choice as well, since he was the man who handed off the torch to the Ultimate Warrior back in “Wrestlemania VI.” He also brought Warrior into WCW for a short feud as well, but the two have seemed to develop a hatred of each other over the past few years with Warrior especially venomous towards Hogan. CM Punk was also an option to induct the Ultimate Warrior to the WWE Hall of Fame before he walked out on the company.
