WWE Hall of Fame 2013: Trish Stratus contacted about induction

According to rajah.com on Jan. 28, the WWE contacted former Diva's Champion Trish Stratus about inducting her into the WWE Hall of Fame 2013 class. According to the site, Stratus accepted the invitation.

Stratus would join a class that includes former WWF Champion Bob Backlund and hardcore legend Mick Foley. Also reported earlier today, Triple H has been working on getting WWF legend Bruno Sammartino to accept an induction in 2013 as well. If Backlund, Sammartino, Foley and Trish all enter the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, it could end up as the most prestigious induction class in a very long time.

Trish Stratus began wrestling in the WWE in 2000 as a manager of a tag team called T&A, consisting of the late Test and Prince Albert (Tensai). Stratus soon turned her attention to wrestling and enjoyed one of the best women's careers in WWE history.

Stratus held the Women's Championship seven times over her career and enjoyed a memorable feud with Lita, possibly one of the best women's feuds in WWE history.

The report says that the WWE approached Trish Stratus about the WWE Hall of Fame last week, when she agreed to the induction.
