WWE Elimination Chamber 2014 results

According to a Feb. 23 report from, results are in from the historic WWE Elimination Chamber 2014 event that went down at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn.

The WWE's 2014 Elimination Chamber featured a six-man battle between The Shield and The Wyatt Family, Batista's return to singles competition against Alberto Del Rio and a main event that pitted Randy Orton against five WWE superstars.

Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel

Kicking off the Elimination Chamber card were Cody Rhodes and Goldust, the sons of former WWE superstar Dusty Rhodes, in a tag-team battle against Ryback and Curtis Axel.

There's not much history between the two tag-teams, but the WWE could be using Elimination Chamber as a vehicle to hype up a new rivalry.

The Rhodes brothers battle Ryback and Axel on the WWE Elimination Chamber kickoff show, which streams live on Sunday on, the WWE App, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pheed, Pinterest and Samsung SMART TVs.

The Elimination Chamber kickoff show also features a commentary team of Mark Henry, Rey Mysterio and The Miz.

Darren Young vs. Titus O'Neil

Also on the Elimination Chamber card, former Prime Time Players tag team members Titus O'Neil and Darren Young will wrestle each other in a singles match.

The feud between them began during a recent episode of WWE SmackDown, when O'Neil claimed that Young was "dead weight."

The New Age Outlaws (c) vs. The Usos

The Usos have been due for a title shot for a long time now, and they'll finally receive the opportunity tonight at the Elimination Chamber.

The New Age Outlaws, six-time tag-team champions, are the most experienced group the Usos will have ever competed against, but they can obviously use their youth to their advantage.

Big E vs. Jack Swagger

Next up on the Elimination Chamber card, Big E puts his Intercontinental Championship Belt on the line against Jack Swagger.

This is an interesting bout because both men have similar skillsets, being that they come from the amateur wrestling circuit. Will Big E be able to power through Swagger? Time will tell how this Elimination Chamber showdown goes down.

Batista vs. Alberto Del Rio

Batista hit Del Rio with a vicious Batista Bomb on the Feb. 10 episode of Monday Night Raw, so there's some serious juice to this feud.

Rumor has it that Brock Lesnar will be making a cameo at Elimination Chamber. If so, there's a good chance Lesnar will be interfering in this match somehow.

The Wyatt Family vs. The Shield

The Wyatt Family vs. The Shield is the bout that WWE fans have been waiting a long time for, as both groups have been getting a big push from the promotion lately.

Bray Wyatt has turned into a great character from his work on the mic and also his incredible skills inside the ring, but The Shield's Roman Reigns has also been getting great exposure of late. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

Randy Orton (c) vs. John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus vs. Christian vs. Cesaro

Bryan, Cena and Sheamus qualified for the Elimination Chamber contest during the Jan. 27 episode of Monday Night Raw.

As for Cesaro and Christian, they won Elimination Chamber qualifying matches against Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger, respectively, on the Jan. 31 edition of WWE SmackDown. Orton puts his WWE heavyweight belt on the line against all five men at Elimination Chamber.
