WrestleZone presented comments from a number of WWE superstars on Feb. 17 concerning the "WWE Elimination Chamber" pay per view. Here is a look at tonight's pay per view event and what the stars had to say.
There will be a pre-show match pitting the tag team of The Rhodes Scholars against Tensai and Brodus Clay.
The Shield heads into the pay per view to take on the six-man team of John Cena, Ryback and Sheamus. After months of terrorizing the WWE, this is the chance for three of the company's biggest stars to get revenge.
"Get hit hard. Stand tall shake it off. Hit back way harder. #FeedMeShield," Ryback wrote.
In two smaller title matches, Antonio Cesaro defends his United States championship against The Miz and Kaitlyn defends her Diva's title against Tamina Snuka.
In the Elimination Chamber match, Chris Jericho, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Kane and Jack Swagger battle for the number one contender to the world championship at Wrestlemania.
Dolph Ziggler, who had a chance to compete in the Elimination Chamber, chose to focus his tweets on other men who are wrestling on the card by writing "#EmptyStomachCardio somewhere shamus & del rio are innovating ways to pander to @WWE fans #EliminationChamber."
Alberto Del Rio defends his world championship against former champion Big Show. Del Rio won the belt in a last man standing match by burying Big Show under the announcers table. Since the win Del Rio has made Big Show's life a living hell.
"Tomorrow at this time I will be in the ring with the big Show and I'm going to shut his mouth once and for all That's a promise WHC/ADR," Del Rio said.
In the main event, The Rock defends the WWE Championship against CM Punk. The special stipulations in the match determine that if The Rock is disqualified or counted out, Punk wins the belt.
"WWE Elimination Chamber" airs at 8 p.m. EST on pay per view.
