WWE: Daniel Bryan pushed up the card for a possible grudge match at Wrestlemania

With a backstage situation involving CM Punk this week reported by several wrestling media outlets, fan favorite Daniel Bryan is currently being positioned to battle corporate authority figure Triple H at Wrestlemania 30 on April 6th. After fervor that occurred with fans online and in the Consol Energy Center this past Sunday at Royal Rumble, WWE is reportedly moving Daniel Bryan up the card into a slot that was held by Punk last week.

Both Triple H and Bryan have had an on and off conflict since August at Summerslam when Triple H as the special guest referee immediately attacked Daniel Bryan after his triumphant WWE Championship victory. Randy Orton the corporate sponsored star hit the ring and cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and winning the title off Bryan just minutes after he defeated John Cena. What followed was months of Bryan chasing Orton and the WWE Championship, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon using their power to suppress him and cheat him out of the title on three consecutive pay per view events.

Pro Wrestling Examiner’s Perspective: The issue between the WWE Universe saying ‘YES!’ and Triple H’s authority saying ‘NO!’ was brought to forefront yet again in the opening segment on this week’s RAW when Daniel Bryan hit the ring and called out McMahon and Triple H. The segment was pure electricity and could easily be a foreshadowing a potential showdown between the Yes Movement and the King of Kings. It believed that Bryan and Triple H’s face-off was written into the show briefly before ‘RAW’ went on the air. The payoff of Bryan getting his revenge on Trips seems like a great caveat for dedicated Yesamaniacs to get on the road to Wrestlemania 30.
