WWE changes John Cena's opponent for 'RAW' main event

WWE made a switch this afternoon to the main event for tonight’s live RAW broadcast in Memphis which as of 4pm C was set to feature John Cena facing Wyatt Family member Luke Harper but that match was inexplicably changed on WWE’s official twitter at 4:56pm C. Cena who is currently battling a leg injury after being assaulted by the Wyatt Family two weeks ago, will now face Erick Rowan from the Wyatts in the main event live on USA Network tonight. The leader of the Cenation is reportedly being teased to face Wyatt Family leader Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania 30 but the match has yet to be officially confirmed.

Also on WWE RAW tonight will be a special announcement by WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan about Wrestlemania 30. Hogan is set to host WM30 live on pay-per-view on Sunday April 6th from New Orleans.

The Undertaker has also been confirmed to appear tonight live on ‘RAW’. According to a post today on WWE.com, The Deadman will respond to the diatribe laid against him by his WM30 opponent and former UFC champion Brock Lesnar and his conniving manager Paul Heyman last week in Chicago.

Pro Wrestling Examiner’s Perspective: It’s interesting that WWE opted to have Rowan over Harper here in this live TV main event. The bearded Rowan appears to less of the athletic in-ring prowess as Harper who has wild grasp of his swampy madman character and ton of smashmouth grit during his matches. Cena is reportedly dealing with legitimate injuries but is finding a way to work around them, something he has done in the past. And who knows what WWE will reveal with Hogan and the Undertaker tonight, so tune to USA Network 7pm C to find out. WWE even has a celebrity guest on tonight's show, too.
