WWE championship belts: LeBron James surprises Miami Heat with belts

LeBron James of the Miami Heat was looking for a WWE championship belt a couple of months, and he ended up getting one, compliments of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Not a bad birthday present, but James wanted to share his glory with his teammates, so he got them all their own WWE championship belts, according to Yahoo Sports on Feb. 26, 2014.

James took to Twitter around his birthday last year and looked into getting a real WWE championship belt. The Rock saw James' plea and decided to get one for the NBA superstar in honor of his 29th birthday.

Not wanting to be the only man in the locker room with the 20 pounds of gold on his shoulder, or around his waist, James got all of his teammates their own.

"Always wanted to be the WWE Heavyweight World Champion so today I surprised my teammates with their own for their collection," James wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.

The personalized WWE championship belts had their names, their jersey numbers, and a Heat logo on them.

Making things a little more personal is that LeBron James made it seem as if the belts were a gift from Stephanie McMahon herself. He thanked her on Twitter for her "help with the gifts I gave my guys today!" Not bad connections, eh?

Now, it will take a little more time to see if the Heat are on their way to being basketball champions yet again.
