With the WWE Battleground 2013 spoilers among the most sought-after info from pro wrestling fans these next few days, it seems at least one potential spoiler has been revealed from the SmackDown results. A promo cut by Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt family may indicate their involvement in Sunday's pay-per-view results.
An Oct. 4 report via Wrestling Inc gives SmackDown spoilers for the show recently taped in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which airs on Friday night on SyFY. Among the results were victories for Big Show, Ryback, Brie Bella, Alberto Del Rio and Los Matadores. There were also several promo bits presented during the show, including A.J. Lee arriving out with Tamina Snuka to put Brie on notice for Sunday. Paul Heyman did the same, suggesting that Ryback is going to "destroy CM Punk" on Sunday at Battleground.
One potential spoiler came during a segment from Bray Wyatt and family. Wyatt delivered a promo in which he told everyone to "follow the buzzards at Battleground." The saying has been popular in recent weeks as Bray and his two minions have dismantled various superstars during and after their matches. Among those attacked have been Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and Prime Time Players.
Adding to the mystery here is a recent tweet from Bray Wyatt which read:
#BattleGround begins the revolution
No quarter given
The First Will Fall
There's no current matches announced featuring The Wyatt Family, but that doesn't mean an impromptu match won't be added during the pay-per-view. Possibilities could include Prime Time Players vs. Rowan and Harper with Bray Wyatt sitting ringside. Or, they might have Bray Wyatt take on Kofi Kingston in a singles match. The bit was intriguing for sure, leaving fans to wonder what is next for the Wyatt family, as they hope for a build towards The Wyatts versus The Brothers of Destruction.
WWE's Battleground pay-per-view goes live at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday on cable, satellite and WWE's live stream via ordering on their website, with an approximate run time of 180 minutes.
