According to Wrestlezone, WWE superstar Batista has been the source of much internet ridicule for his recent fashion choices since re-joining WWE in January, and those critiques ripped into the action last night on ‘RAW’ as the former WWE World Champion ripped his jeans during the opening segment of the show.
The opening segment of last night's RAW telecast saw Batista complain about fan favorite Daniel Bryan and corporate authority figure Triple H possibly injecting themselves into his WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against the reigning champ Randy Orton. Batista mouthed off to WWE boss and Triple H’s wife Stephanie McMahon and got slapped for it. This prompted Orton who was also in the ring, to mock his former Evolution stablemate. This enraged the challenger so much he tackled the Viper to the mat. As he exited the ring, it was faintly clear from a ringside camera shot that Batista did indeed rip his skinny jean as you can see in the photo posted with this article.
The Animal has been sporting ‘skinny jeans’ recently on WWE TV along with other wears you may see in a regular episode of the reality show ‘Jersey Show’. Big Dave has also been so braggadocious as to wear designer sun glasses, while he is inside in brightly lit arenas and of course, he’s been gloating about it on his road to Wrestlemania 30.
Batista is one of the stars set to apeear this Tuesday this Tuesday at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City for the annual Wrestlemania press conference. Read about all the stars appearing this press event and where you can watch it here.
Pro Wrestling Examiner’s Perspective: This Examiner was lucky enough to take in last night’s ‘RAW’ live from the pro wrestling pizza hub of Chicago, the Squared Circle with it’s owner, former WWE Women’s Champion Lisa Marie Varon a.k.a ‘Victoria’. A dorky chant of ‘skinny jeans’ was heard in the wrestling-themed pizza place broke out when the Animal made his appearance, so of course as luck would have it, Batista ripped through his ‘skinny jeans’.
Batista challenges Randy Orton and the winner of Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H for the WWE title at Wrestlemania 30 live on pay-per-view and the WWE Network.
