Next Monday WWE RAW (USA Network 7pm C/8pm E) will feature a special appearance by action movie icon Arnold Schwarzenegger who will be promoting the March 28 release of his latest thriller Sabotage. WWE announced the appearance officially tonight on ‘RAW’ and was reported by LordsofPain. Next week's RAW will air live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. WWE fans should expect 'The Terminator' star to have some effect on the show as he will be the 'guest host' which will likely see him interact with some of the WWE superstars and divas.

The former Governor of California has been a friend to WWE for some time now, having appeared on ‘Smackdown’ in the late ‘90s where he famously decked out wrestler Triple H. Last year Schwarzeneger inducted wrestling legend Bruno Sammartino into the WWE Hall of Fame in Madison Square Garden in New York City as part of the Wrestlemania 29 festivities.

The March 24th episode of 'RAW' is also scheduled to have another Hollywood tie-in with the Mystery Machine from the Scooby Doo cartoons making an appearance on the live show. WWE superstars will appear in the next direct-to-DVD Scooby Doo feature called ‘Scooby Doo! Wrestlemania Mystery’ which is released next week.

Pro Wrestling Examiner’s Perspective: This is a big ‘get’ for WWE especially just a couple of weeks away from Wrestlemania when they are trying to attract the most eyes to their road to the ‘show of shows’. Schwarzeneger may not be the mega-star he once was, but the man’s name is solidified as a Hollywood heavyweight and his status as a pop culture symbol of machismo so he is a perfect celebrity guest for WWE to work with.
