The WWE announced that the first episode of "WWE Monday Night Raw" in 2014 will be an "Old School Raw." According to prowrestling.com on Dec. 24, this episode will take place in Maryland and will include a dark match between John Cena and Randy Orton.

The last "Old School WWE Monday Night Raw" episode took place in 2010 when the WWE celebrated their history with an appearance by WWE legends in a special three-hour episode. Of course, "WWE Monday Night Raw" is now three hours every week, but the legends should be back.

In 2010, the show featured the return appearance of superstars like "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, The Iron Sheik, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Tito Santana and many more.

The show opened with Mean Gene Okerlund introducing Cowboy Bob Orton, who came out to talk about his son's upcoming WWE title match, included a match with the Brooklyn Brawler, saw George "The Animal" Steele eat a turnbuckle, and featured a Piper's Pit with Roddy Piper interviewing John Cena and Randy Orton.

Four years later, this next "Old School WWE Monday Night Raw" still sees Cena and Orton in the main event scene, and many of the same classic stars should make their return once again. The "Old School WWE Monday Night Raw" takes place on Jan. 6, 2014.
