At the beginning of 2012, the wrestling world was buzzing over Brock Lesnar's retirement from the UFC following his loss to Alistair Overeem on Friday, December 30th. Immediately, rumors took on a life of their own in regards to Lesnar returning to the WWE. Unfortunately for Lesnar fans, it doesn't appear that Lesnar will be returning anytime soon. Additionally, it appears that the WWE has given away Lesnar's finishing move to another wrestler. According to a Saturday February 4th report by WrestleZone.com, Skip Sheffield, who's now wrestling as Ryback, is using Lesnar's F5 "finisher".
WWE superstars Kane and Santino turn to DDP for career longevity
Every wrestler has a "finisher" and it's their signature move. "Finishers" signal to the wrestling fans that the match is over. Promotions frown upon allowing multiple wrestlers to use the same finisher as it can devalue the move and the gimmick, which ultimately leads to a potential decrease in revenue.
Ryback's usage of Lesnar's "finisher" could pose potential problems in the future if Brock decides to return. Ryback has yet to be seen on WWE TV, so the WWE could always decide to change his "finisher" beforehand.
