More details have been revealed in regards to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the upcoming multiplatform video game, "WWE 2K15." According to a preview from Gamespot on June 11, the video game was shown off during E3 2014. Although no gameplay was showcased, Visual Concepts did provide a look at some of the new technology being implemented into the next-generation iterations of the wrestling title.

"WWE 2K15" will be using the same scanning techs to render character models as the ones found in the upcoming "NBA 2K15." As a result, the wrestlers will look a lot more detailed when compared to "WWE 2K14." Previous high-definition games in the series have been heavily criticized in the past for what many fans perceived to be sub-par visuals.

One of the examples that was used during the presentation is John Cena. GameSpot noted that the in-game model showed a few bumps and scars on the popular superstar's head. His facial animation was also described as ultra realistic. Along with John Cena, the company previously confirmed that Bray Wyatt, Cesaro, Hulk Hogan and Roman Reigns are going to be a part of the roster as well.

"WWE 2K15" is still being developed by Yuke's although a bigger role in development has been allocated to Visual Concepts. The two studios also teamed up with "WWE 2K14" after 2K Games acquired the publishing rights for the future games in the franchise. However, they did not have a lot of time with last year's version due to the transition.

Despite the lack of footage, "WWE 2K15" is still expected to come out in North America on Oct. 28. The same video game will be hitting Europe on Halloween. Along with the PS4 and Xbox One, this year's installment of the franchise is also returning to the PS3 and Xbox 360.
