More information may have been revealed for "WWE 2K15." According to a report from SEScoops on June 5, Goldberg and Sting are rumored to be playable in this year's installment. The former has appeared in the previous games of the series, including "WWE 2K14."

On the other hand, Sting has never appeared in a video game related to the WWE. The legendary wrestler remains the biggest name in wrestling not to have wrestled in the company. However, he is rumored to be working on some sort of deal. He also recently made a brief appearance during a tribute for The Ultimate Warrior.

Additional details were also provided for the new career mode. In addition to creating their own characters, players will be able to use existing wrestlers to work their way from NXT onto the main program. Among the possible characters may include the current NXT Champion, Adrian Neville, as well the NXT Women Champion, Charlotte. Furthermore, Sami Zayn and Tyler Breeze may possibly be a part of the roster as well.

The same website also confirmed the return of the “30 Years of WrestleMania” mode from "WWE 2K14." In the campaign from last year's game, players get to relive some of the most popular matches from the WrestleMania events. It is unknown how the development teams are going to implement the same mode for "WWE 2K15." The development teams behind "WWE 2K15" remain somewhat a mystery. Take-Two Interactive confirmed that Visual Concepts will be brought back although the publisher did not clarify if the studio is working on the video game alone or collaboratively with Yuke's. This year's installment of the series is being released on the PS4 and Xbox One next-generation systems along with the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
