More members of the "WWE 2K15" have been confirmed. According to a report from Gameranx on July 21, the latest round of confirmations feature a mix of divas, current performers as well as past wrestlers. Some of the names should not be surprising considering how heavily they were featured on television programs over the last couple of years.
AJ Lee, who recently returned from a hiatus to win the WWE Divas Championship on her first match back, will be a part of the video game. Joining her will be Cameron and Naomi, the former members of the Funkadactyls. The two are also stars in the reality television show that aired on E! channel as well as the WWE Network streaming service.
On the male side, the currently-injured Daniel Bryan is going to be made playable in "WWE 2K15." He remains very popular although he suffered from a neck injury that has put him out of action indefinitely. The other new confirmations are made up of older guys with the most active performers being RVD and Triple H. Fans can expect to also see Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin as well as "The Undertaker."
In previous statements, 2K Games confirmed that John Cena will be the cover boy of the new video game, which will be his first as a solo act. The publisher also disclosed that Bray Wyatt, Cesaro, Darren Young, Hulk Hogan, Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns, Sting and Xavier Woods. Justin Gabriel hinted that he is going to be added as well. Finally, the commentary is going to be provided by the duo of Jerry "The King" Lawler and Michael Cole.
"WWE 2K15" is approximately three months away from launch with a release date set for Oct. 28 in North America and three days later in European territories. The rest of the roster should be revealed during a special event prior to the Summerslam pay-per-view next month.
