Chris Snyder has commented on the gameplay for the upcoming "WWE 2K15" on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. According to a report from Attack of the Fan Boy on June 24, the 2K Sports' senior market director teased that there will be plenty of new modes implemented in this year's installment of the series. Unfortunately, he did not go into further details at what the new gameplay elements will be.
2K Sports took over the gaming franchise with "WWE 2K14." However, the publisher did not have enough time to make changes to last year's version as it was already deep into development. The 2014 edition did include a "Universe" mode where players can set up a continuous set of matches at various events. The "30 Years of Wrestlemania" mode was also added to let fans re-experience some of the biggest battle at the popular pay-per-view event.
Although Chris Snyder is not yet willing to confirmed anything, "WWE 2K15" is rumored to included several modes. The first mode could utilize the WWE Network service in order to provide the most up-to-date details on the product. For example, if John Cena gets a hair cut in real life, his character model could be updated in the video game. Another potential mode may let players start out as a trainee on the NXT roster trying to fight his or her way onto the main shows. Finally, the aforesaid "30 Years of Wrestlemania" element could return as well.
Oct. 28 is the official North American release date for "WWE 2K15." European fans are getting the same wrestling game three days later. Yukes and Visual Concepts are collaborating again to develop the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 video game with 2K Sports handling the publishing responsibilities.
