"WWE 2K15" may feature newly designed belts on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. According to a report from Wrestling Inc on July 20, WWE has ordered new plates for all championship hardware. This is because the company wanted to replace the old logo with the new one later this year.

WWE used the "scratch" logo during their most popular period, which was known by many fans as the Attitude Era. The symbol originally included the letter "F" when the company was known as the WWF. However, they lost a legal dispute with the World Wide Fund for Nature for the trademark, forcing them to become WWE and remove "F" from the logo.

The new logo has already been used for the WWE Network, which launched in Feb. of this year. The streaming service ended up putting the company in some financial hardships due to the lower-than-expected subscribers. The stock dropped significantly, resulting in the firings of some of the behind-the-scenes and on-air talents.

The same logo is also being used for "WWE 2K15." The company is apparently set to officially make the switch on the Monday Night Raw episode, which takes place on Aug. 18, after the Summerslam pay-per-view event. At around the same time, the complete roster of playable characters for the video game should also be announced. The Summerslam will feature John Cena, the cover star of this year's installment, going against Brock Lesnar.

"WWE 2K15" is set to arrive shortly after the new logo is made official. The video game is scheduled for a North American launch on Oct. 28 and then a European release several days later on Oct. 31. Two versions of Sting, who will be making his first appearance in the series, is being offered as pre-order bonuses.
