Cory Ledesma has responded to a complaint in regards to the lack of divas from the roster of the upcoming Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 video game, “WWE 2K14.” According to an exchange from Twitter on Oct. 10, a fan expressed his displeasured over the fact that the wrestling simulation title is launching with only five active female playable characters.
Cory Ledesma replied by saying that the development team also wished they could have added more. However, he assured fans that the divas that were included are going to be “amazing.” You can check out some screenshots from “WWE 2K14” in the slideshow located near the top of this article and the comments from the creative director below (courtesy of the Real Cory Ledesma Twitter):
We wish we had more as well. But the Divas that are in the game, will be amazing.
This year’s edition of the wrestling simulation series features seven divas in total. AJ Lee, the current Divas Champion, will be playable in addition to Aksana, Kaitlyn, Layla and Natalya. Furthermore, Lita and Stephanie McMahon (who is now the executive vice president of the creative department at WWE) were also added to the roster as legends.
Cory Ledesma also teased that more divas could be added through DLC. He hinted that the development team won’t “hopefully” disappoint fans with the downloadable content packs.
“WWE 2K14” will be released later this month on Oct. 29 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. You can pre-order the product from Amazon in the following link: “WWE 2K14”
