WuTang Management has signed singer/rapper Idaho State University's former Quarterback Darrell Anthony Byrd Robinson. He is known in the music world as Rapper "Rel". He was discovered at a contest conducted by the famous management company back in 2012. WuTang Management is owned by Wutang Clan's group member Rza's first Cousin John "Mook" Gibbons (Forbes); he is the CEO and founder of Wu-Tang Management . Mook is also the former President of Wu-tang Records.

Rel has been in the studio for the past 2 years building his freshman album with the Wutang team and record label Protect Yah Neck Records which is scheduled for release on March 31, 2014. The Album is titled: "Legacy Reborn" which Rel states: "My album Legacy Reborn is defined as the rebirth of all that came before us." During that 2 year period, Rel has been an opening act for top hip hop artists: like Lil Wayne, Ying Yang Twins, Pit Bull, Lil Flip, Game, and Devin the Dude. Some of Rel's most influential artists to date are: Tupac, Marvin Gaye, and Bob Marley. These influences can be heard in his music as well, this artist can very well be branded as the male musical version of Rap/Singer Lauryn Hill of the 90's Rap Group, "The Fugees".

According to Wutang Management: "The debut album features a broad spectrum of genres, from the new age electronic pop sound to the most soulful emotional sound. Wu Tang now may quite possibly have their new era “Franchise Player”, because now they can touch all genres instead of just R&B and Rap which they are so well known for”.

Look out for Rel on Itunes, Spotify, and Youtube coming March 2014.
