"Wrong", the new Indie Movie mash-up of many a style, debuted it's official Trailer Today on iTunes. Brought to us by Writer and Director Quentin Dupieux ("Rubber"). Dupieux is also a highly regarded French Techno music recording artist known as Mr. Oizo (who coincidentally scores all his own films).
This latest one, a fresh take on a shaggy dog tale of an uncommon man (CMU graduate Jack Plotnick) having the worst day of his life. He wakes to find his beloved dog missing and begins a bizarre search which finds him lost in eternity all to find his canine friend.
Fulfilling the promise of his previous work, Dupieux may have just topped his burgeoning Cult classic first feature with something even stranger and more beguiling. It arrives on VOD February 1st and then later in March it may play Pittsburgh theaters.
Drafthouse Films, my pick for 2012's "Best" Independent DVD Distributor, certainly doesn't harm it's reputation on releasing this crazy flick. Look for an upcoming review next month! And until then check out the unapologetically preposterous "Wrong" Trailer.
