The Writers Guild of America has just announced their nominees for Best Original and Best Adapted Screenplay. Despite their several inexplicable omissions each year, these awards tend to be a good predictor of who will go on to win the Oscars. However, you can more than likely expect the nominees to be a little different when the rest of the screenplays are added back in.
This year, several major contenders were deemed "ineligible" including "Django Unchained," "Beasts of the Southern Wild," "Amour," and "Les Misérables."
