Pens are my office equivalent of socks. They tend to go missing. The pen, the cap, the whole deal. Just where do they go? One day the secret portal for errant socks and favorite pens will open wide, revealing all that have mysteriously disappeared.

 

Until that day, there is the Inka Pen Travel Pen, that attaches to a keychain. It looks like a simple, non-descript key fob. But a quick pull will reveal a carbon fiber pen complete with pressurized ink cartridge. Users who need to write a bit more simply unscrew the stainless steel pen to reveal its full-size pen glory. The gadget also contains a stylus.

 

The pen is available from ThinkGeek for $14.99. ThinkGeek notes that the pen’s pressurized ink means scribblers “can write at any angle, at any altitude, and even underwater.” You know, for those quick notes you want to jot down when you scuba dive/snorkel/surf.

 

According to ThinkGeek, the Inka Pen is "the ultimate in portable writing."
